Best BBA College in Katihar | K.B. JHA COLLEGE

Katihar is a tiny industrial town in eastern Bihar, bordering Bengal and Nepal happens to be a centre of knowledge and learning. The growing pressures of aspirants create a demand of an institution of higher education. Local academics and the land-donor Sri K. B. Jha contributed whole heartedly and the institution was established in 1976 offering basically the intermediate course in Arts and Commerce. In 1979 it was affiliated to L. N. M. University, Darbhanga and accredited to give courses in I.A., I.Com, I. Sc., B.A., B. Com and then B.Sc. K.B. JHA COLLEGE; KATIHAR emerged as one of the premier co-educational degree college in Katihar. The college was converted into a constituent college of L.N.Mithila University, Darbhanga on October ,31,1986 in pursuance of the Govt.of Bihar dated August , 19, 1986 on the basis of an agreement executed on October,31,1986.

Later, when B.N.Mandal University came into existence in 1992. The college was one of its constituent colleges. K.B.Jha College, Katihar is a constituent unit of the newly established Purnea University, Purnia since March, 2018.
